AURORA PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE

T.ACB
Vancouver, BC – January 26, 2015: Aurora Cannabis Inc. (CSE: ACB) (Frankfurt: 21P; WKN: A1C4WM) is pleased to provide a corporate update of the status of Aurora Cannabis Enterprises Inc. (“Aurora”). Aurora is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aurora Cannabis Inc. Aurora is an applicant to become a licensed producer pursuant to the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (“MMPR”).

Construction is now complete on Aurora’s 55,200 square foot brand new facility in Mountain View County, Alberta. The facility layout was constructed in such a manner to allow for maximization of efficiency in growing, facility moving, trimming, drying and packaging. All equipment has been received and installed and is presently being commissioned and qualified to the extent that it can be without physically growing Marijuana.

Aurora’s Quality Assurance Team (representing 80+ years of combined Health Canada and FDA, GMP regulatory experience), and Science Advisors continue to explore and implement production practices to address one of the industry’s most challenging issues such as, microbial and pest-borne contamination. The initial patent registry process has begun on a unique customer-safe, plant-safe technology that can effectively eliminate or mitigate biological contamination of cannabis.

As part of Aurora’s adherence to efficient sanitary production practices, the final commitment to incorporate micro propagation has been made.

Further, Aurora’s Scientists and their in-depth study and understanding of primary and secondary cannabinoids will ensure our unique cultivation technologies maximize the health and potential of each cultivar.

Training is continuing at the facility on a number of fronts assuring Aurora’s commitment to a company wide understanding of the MMPR and production practices based upon scientific, characterizable, repeatable processes.

Aurora’s new website has been launched and the customer service portal is presently being developed to ensure that the onsite customer experience is swift, efficient and user friendly while maintaining stringent levels of data protection.

Integration of Biotrax into the ecommerce and financial reporting systems has commenced. These systems provide a comprehensive view into the production flow of the facility, from seed to sale, and will allow us to adapt to changing customer demands.

In November 2014, Aurora requested HC to perform an inspection of the facility. Upon HC’s request, Aurora provided them with the final drawings of all areas of the facility and a confirmation that Aurora is ready for the next inspection prior to granting of the license.

On December 9th and 10th of 2014, Health Canada’s Office of Controlled Substances (OCS) completed their second inspection of the Aurora facility. OCS confirmed to Aurora in midDecember that the report had been submitted to the offices of Health Canada in Ottawa. Aurora is patiently awaiting Health Canada’s response and is not aware of anything that would encumber or delay the issuance of the cultivation license.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our shareholders for their continued support, patience and understanding throughout this process.

On behalf of the Board of Directors,
AURORA CANNABIS INC.

Terry Booth
President & CEO
