monitoring, today announced Mike Kirby has joined its executive team as
the company’s first senior vice president of worldwide sales. A Silicon
Valley executive with more than 25 years of experience in building high
growth technology companies, Kirby will lead Tenable’s global sales
strategy and oversee its execution.

sales and help cement Tenable’s position as the worldwide leader in

Kirby is now the company’s most senior sales executive, a position
created to help the fast-growing cybersecurity software company scale to
meet market demands in the expanding threat environment. With his
impressive track record in technology sales and experience in public and
private organizations, Kirby is well-suited to lead Tenable’s effort to
help customers identify network vulnerabilities in real-time and gain
assurance that all of their security investments are working.
Prior to joining Tenable, Kirby served as senior vice president of
global sales for Aruba Networks (NASDAQ:ARUN), a provider of
next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise with
operations throughout the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia
Pacific. Kirby designed and executed Aruba’s global sales strategy and
played a key role in the company’s growth from $1 million to over $700
million in annual revenue during his 10 years at the company. Kirby
previously held various sales positions at Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) for more
than a decade, rising to senior vice president of worldwide software
sales.
