VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - February 11, 2015) - Oracle Mining Corp. ("Oracle Mining" or the "Corporation") (TSX: OMN) (FRANKFURT: OMC) announces that director Alan Edwards has resigned from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, effective February 15, 2015. In addition, Ampere Chan, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from the Corporation, effective February 15, 2015. Mr. Chan also served on the Corporation's Disclosure Committee. Mr. Chan will be replaced by Mr. Carlos Escribano, CPA, CGA.
Mr. Escribano is a Chartered Professional Accountant and graduate of the University of British Columbia. He has held several senior level accounting and financial reporting positions with producing and development stage publicly-listed companies in the mining industry. His previous roles include serving as CFO and VP Finance for resource companies publicly listed in Canada and the USA. Mr. Escribano served as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation from February 2011 - April 2013.
