Goldspike Announces Vertical Amalgamation of Wholly Owned Subsidiary and Name Change to Nevada Zinc Corporation

V.NZN

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - February 27, 2015) - Goldspike Exploration Inc. (TSXV: GSE) (the "Corporation") announces that it will complete a vertical amalgamation of its wholly owned subsidiary, Nevada Zinc Corporation, effective as of March 6, 2015. Concurrent with the vertical amalgamation, the name of the Corporation will change from "Goldspike Exploration Inc." to "Nevada Zinc Corporation" ("Newco"). The common shares of Newco will be listed under the stock symbol "NZN" on the TSX Venture Exchange and are expected to begin trading under the new symbol and name on or about March 6, 2015. The CUSIP number assigned to the common shares of Newco following the name change is 64151W102.

"We implemented the name change to reflect the current asset base of the corporation and our opportunity to discover and define a significant zinc resource at our 100% owned, Lone Mountain Property in Nevada" said Bruce Durham, President and CEO. "The current outlook for zinc remains robust. Global zinc production levels are declining and strong growth in the construction and automotive manufacturing sectors continues to push the forecasted demand for zinc higher."
