SPRINGDALE, Ark., March 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN), today announced that Kathleen M. Bader has resigned from her position as a member of the board of directors, effectively immediately.
John H. Tyson, Chairman of the Board stated, "Our board of directors and the company have benefited from Kathleen's talent, experience and other contributions since joining our board in 2011. We appreciate her contributions and wish her well in the future."
Ms. Bader stated, "It is with regret that I find myself unable to commit the time needed to serve on the Tyson board, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my years on the board and look forward to seeing Tyson's success in the future."
The company's board will begin a search for Ms. Bader's successor immediately.
