Moto-Meter(TM) to Be Used in Project for Class Taught by Google-X Cofounder

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2015) - World Moto, Inc. (OTCBB: FARE) (OTCQB: FARE) (BERLIN: WM7) (BERLIN: A1J8SY) ("World Moto" or the "Company") today announced that it has donated two Moto-Meters™ to be used for a student project in a graduate level class taught by Google-X cofounder Sebastian Thrun.

The Company was recently contacted by a graduate student in Sebastian Thrun's class who needed a device that integrated an advanced array of inertial and metering sensors for a project on a two-wheeled vehicle. The project, which will apply equally well to bicycles or motorcycles, is designed to help determine the location of a single tracked vehicle to a very high accuracy. While GPS alone can determine a position of a moving object to within a few meters, calculating a location with sub-meter precision, which is a requirement of self-navigating vehicles, requires the use of onboard inertial sensors and complex algorithms. The student contacted World Moto to supply 2 demo units after determining that the sophisticated sensor array included with the Moto-Meter™ provided a platform that was well suited for this type of demanding application.

The course professor, Sebastian Thrun, is a Max Planck Research Award winner who as a Google Vice President and Fellow led the project to create the Google driverless car. Doctor Thrun is currently CEO of Udacity, as well as a research professor at Stanford University, and is one of the most respected authorities in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. The particular course is designed to mentor exceptional students and to propel them forward in their careers to become innovators and entrepreneurs developing the next generation of disruptive technologies.

World Moto CTO, Chris Ziomkowski, stated, "Sebastian Thrun is a legend in the engineering community, and it is very gratifying to have the Moto-Meter's potential recognized in this way and to be able to assist one of his students with this kind of groundbreaking research."
