Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today it has been awarded a
five-year, $62 million single-award contract funded by the U.S. Agency
for International Development (USAID) to support the strengthening of
the provincial government system in Afghanistan. This program will
address many governance systems to improve the planning, development and
delivery of public services.
Tetra Tech will assist USAID to strengthen the linkages between the
central government and provincial levels for strategic planning,
budgeting and service delivery. Tetra Tech will provide advisory
services and technical assistance to build information management
systems, databases, guidelines and procedures to improve the
implementation of essential public services.
