ATLANTA, April 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS), the official logistics
provider of the NCAA, launched 'Courts for a Cause'- an ambitious
program combining UPS's logistical strength and a nation of fervent
collegiate basketball fans to raise funds to fight cancer during
the men's and women's NCAA Final Four® Tournaments.
After shipping 132 court pieces to the 68 men's and 64 women's
NCAA Division I coaches for their autographs, UPS collected and
assembled the signed pieces into replicas of both the men's and
women's Final Four Connor Courts.
The on-site consumer activation at the NCAA Tournament will
showcase a 24-foot-long replicas of the men's and women's Final
Four courts. The courts will be adorned with the signatures of the
collegiate coaches and be on display at the Fan Fest events in both
Indianapolis and Tampa.
Autographed pieces of the men's and women's courts are being
auctioned on eBay through April 10 at 2 p.m., with proceeds going
towards Coaches vs. Cancer (Men's) and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund
(Women's), respectively.

The 'Courts for a Cause' program is one element of UPS'
multipronged effort to bring the NCAA Tournament to life which
includes the launch of the new "United Problems
Solvers™" brand campaign and the 6.3 million pound
delivery of Final Four components including the actual Connor
Courts for both championships, thousands of additional stadium
seats and the official event merchandise.
