ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard was developed and published by
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and establishes
an effective quality management program for companies. Important
components of ISO 9001:2008 include customer satisfaction and
establishing processes for continuous improvement.
ISO 14001:2004 is a standard for an Environmental Management System
which requires an organization to determine its impact on the
environment and relevant regulations to the operations of the business,
create a plan to control processes to minimize the environmental impact,
monitor the effectiveness of the system at meeting objectives as well as
legal and other, and continually analyze the results and improve systems.
OHSAS 18001:2007 is an international standard that is developed by the
Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) Project Group,
an association that includes government agencies, certification bodies,
national standards, industry associations, and consultants. The aim of
OHSAS 18001:2007 is to assist organizations in managing and controlling
their health and safety risks and continually improving their OH&S
performance.
