Shake Shack® is proud to be opening a third location in the
great state of New Jersey, the first in Central Jersey, on Friday,
May 1st at 11:00AM. The Bridgewater Shack
is situated in the premier shopping destination The Village at
Bridgewater Commons.
About an hour drive outside New York City, the Bridgewater Shack joins
two existing New Jersey Shacks, both in Paramus at the Garden State
Plaza and along Route 17 South.
Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger
stand known for its 100% all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers
(no hormones added ever), griddled-crisp flat-top dogs, fresh-made
frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries, and more. A fun and lively
community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned
a cult-like following around the world.
The Bridgewater Shack menu serves up all the Shake Shack classics, plus
two location-specific frozen custard concretes: Township Toffee
(vanilla and chocolate custard, chocolate toffee, caramel sauce and malt
powder) and Bridgewater Berry Patch (vanilla custard, local
New Jersey blueberry jam and cheesecake blondie). Garden State
Plaza’s popular One Stop Choc (chocolate custard, marshmallow
sauce, Balthazar Bakery chocolate-walnut sable cookie and
chocolate sprinkles) will also be available at Bridgewater.
As part of its mission to Stand For Something Good®, the
Bridgewater Shack is partnering with Somerset Home for Temporarily
Displaced Children, giving teens a safe haven and caring support.
Five percent of sales from the Bridgewater Berry Patch concrete will be
donated to Somerset Home, and Shake Shack team members will volunteer at
events run by the charitable organization.
In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and
eco-friendly construction, the interior walls of the Shack are clad in
reclaimed red oak dairy and grain barn beams sourced locally from New
Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York State. Like all Shacks, this location
features energy-efficient kitchen equipment and lighting. Booths are
made from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, and
tabletops are made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes hand-crafted in
Brooklyn, NY.
The Bridgewater location will continue the tradition of Shake Shack as a
dynamic community hub, featuring a fully retractable storefront to
extend the Shack outdoors in warm weather, decked out with picnic tables
and festive string lights plus great custom-selected tunes in the
background.
