WEST ELM TO OPEN FIRST WISCONSIN RETAIL STORE IN MILWAUKEE

What:

Home furnishings retailer West Elm will open its first Wisconsin store in Milwaukee on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 AM. The 11,000-square-foot store will open in the city’s Historic Third Ward with West Elm’s summer product assortment and suite of complimentary design services. As part of West Elm’s LOCAL initiative, product from five Wisconsin-based local artists and makers will also be featured in the new store.

To celebrate the opening, West Elm has partnered with Wisconsin-based artist, Be Timeless to design an exclusive tote bag, which will be given away to the first 300 shoppers with a $50 minimum purchase. Additional store opening activities include a sweepstakes* that offers local customers a chance to win a $2,000 gift card and an invitation to a pre-opening celebration on June 3rd. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Center for Resilient Cities, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable community development -- building communities that are good for people and the environment.
