Motorcar Parts of America Announces New Executive Appointments and Promotions

LOS ANGELES, June 1, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. (Nasdaq:MPAA) today announced several new appointments and promotions within the company's organization.

Peter Murnen joined the company as vice president of marketing. He previously served as global director of aftermarket braking for Federal-Mogul (Nasdaq:FDML). A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Murnen commenced his automotive career in Cleveland, Ohio with CARQUEST. His career experience has included sales, marketing and product management positions with Wagner Brake and Cooper Automotive.  The company also announced the appointment of Hasnain Dhala as a category manager of undercar parts. A 13-year veteran of the automotive industry, Dhala, previously worked at Hyundai as parts and accessories development manager. Prior, he worked for Kia Motors. The company also announced the appointment of Edwin Rosa as assistant vice president of manufacturing.  Rosa was previously operations director with Cardone Industries, a privately held company based in Pennsylvania.

Motorcar Parts of America also announced the following promotions:

  • Gary DelGreco, director of traditional sales from manager of traditional sales;
  • John Luck, director of merchandising from category manager, reporting to Ron Bernstein, vice president of merchandising.
