Prudential's national career distribution system renamed Prudential Advisors

PRU

Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU) announced today that its national career distribution system, formerly known as Agency Distribution, has been renamed Prudential Advisors to more accurately reflect the role that its financial professionals play in the communities they serve; as well as to better align with the array of financial products and services they offer.

“As the marketplace has evolved, so has the way we do business and the expectations that clients have of financial professionals,” said Caroline Feeney, President, Prudential Advisors. “The name Prudential Advisors embodies the relationship based approach our professionals take with their clients. They’re working in partnership with clients to educate, uncover concerns, identify risks and opportunities and ultimately develop a customized roadmap to help secure financial wellness.”

Financial professionals who join Prudential Advisors go through a rigorous selection and training process to ensure a high standard of professionalism and understanding of complex financial concepts. Educational programs and tools provide new financial professionals with the resources necessary to launch and grow a successful career. And as technology has moved to the forefront, financial professionals are operating more dynamically leveraging virtual desktops to boost convenience and speed when submitting business electronically and ultimately enhancing customer service.

“Over the last decade Prudential Advisors has experienced continued growth, enhanced talent and leadership capabilities, strengthened its representation in diverse markets and developed a deeper understanding of client needs in these emerging multicultural markets,” said Feeney. “We’re excited about the name Prudential Advisors because it brings our identity more into alignment with our existing practices. Meeting the needs of our clients isn’t about selling products; it’s about understanding our clients’ needs and providing guidance, advice and solutions when necessary.”

Prudential Advisors is comprised of approximately 3,000 highly skilled and credentialed professionals offering insurance and financial services and products. Along with over 300 managers, the financial professionals are deeply rooted in the communities they serve across all 50 states and Guam.
