PTC
(Nasdaq: PTC) today announced the appointment of Klaus G. Hoehn, Ph.D.
to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Hoehn is Vice President, Advanced Technology and Engineering, Deere
& Company, a position he has held since January 2006. In this role, he
has corporate-level responsibility for directing advanced technology
development and engineering services that support worldwide
agricultural, construction, and commercial and consumer equipment design
and manufacturing.
Following a distinguished academic career as a tenured professor in
Europe and Africa, Dr. Hoehn joined Deere & Company in 1992 where he has
served in significant technology and engineering leadership positions.
In 1998, Hoehn was named Director, Worldwide Tractor and Component
Engineering with global responsibility for Deere’s Tractor Engineering
and Component Technology development.

Dr. Hoehn is a member of VDI, the German engineering association, and a
previous board member of VDI’s Max-Eyth-Society. Hoehn is also a member
of the Society of Automotive Engineers, a previous member of the SAE
Board of Directors, and a previous member of SAE Foundation Board of
Trustees. He also was recognized as a Fellow of SAE in 2012 and
currently serves on the Executive Nomination Committee at SAE. He
additionally served on the advisory boards of Iowa State University, the
University of Michigan, and the Fraunhofer Institute of Factory
Operation and Automation in Magdeburg, Germany. Dr. Hoehn also serves on
the bipartisan U.S. Council on Competitiveness as co-chair of the
Technology Leadership & Strategy Initiative.
