Securecom Media Launches SecureChannel, a Safer Corporate Communications Messaging Solution

SecureChannel for Corporate Communications on the Go

NEW YORK, July 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 15, 2015, Securecom Media, the operator for the mobile application Metalk developed by US listed company Logicquest Technology Inc. (OTC-PINK: LOGQ) launched a corporate messaging solution named SecureChannel, a corporate mobile messaging and information dissemination portal built on the foundational framework of Metalk.

Over the past decade instant mobile messaging has become the new trend of communication. Today more information is sent over instant messengers than phonecalls, SMSes, emails and physical meetings combined. Yet we do not see corporations embracing this technological wave, and in Asian communities where corporations are still led by the older generation, many corporate leaders feel that such messaging mediums are not safe enough and often opt for offline methods to disseminate large chunks of information which may be sensitive in nature.

Research has also shown that despite instant messaging being the most effective way of sending small bits of information, emailing continues to be the main backbone of communication for large documents, text and images. But both instant messengers and emails store what we send, thus restricting what we can send over these mediums to only a portion of what we need to communicate.

SecureChannel, a subscription service provided by Securecom Media, the global licensed operator of the Metalk secure instant messenger, takes lead in addressing the problem of corporations by providing a safe way of sending large chunks of information to individual users.

Making use of the fact that Metalk operates in a highly secure environment and it is extremely challenging for hackers to break the encryption of the application, we can assume that information received and stored in the Metalk application is much harder to ambush. With this precursor, Securechannel delivers to corporate clients a way to create report-length publications and send them to a large number of target recipients via the Metalk engine.

A self-destruct command is attached to each piece of information sent, and once it goes out, this information remains only on the recipients mobile for a fixed period of time before it disintegrates into nothing. Of course, the server does not store any of such information either.

Securecom Media's CEO, Mr. Desmond Chua further revealed that in the coming months added security features will be developed and launched, denying the end recipient any possibility of duplicating the message and sending it to other people outside the business trust circle.

We look forward Securecom bringing us more cool functions for a safer mobile communications landscape.
