Thomas J. Ross, Jr., Joins Peapack-Gladstone Bank

BEDMINSTER, NJ--(Marketwired - Jul 24, 2015) - Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: PGC) and Peapack-Gladstone Bank announce the appointment of Thomas J. Ross, Jr., as Executive Vice President of the Bank and President of Wealth Management Consultants.

Established in 1998 by Mr. Ross, Wealth Management Consultants, a boutique organization whose mission has been to deliver proactive and sound financial, tax and investment advice, on a deeply personal level, to its established client base of high-net worth, affluent individuals, has merged with Peapack-Gladstone Bank, becoming its newest wealth management division. Tom will continue his leadership role as president of WMC, working in conjunction with the private wealth management team at the Bank, to continue providing his established client base with exceptional client service and advice driven solutions.

Tom is the former Partner-In-Charge of Coopers & Lybrand's Personal Financial Services Group in the New York metropolitan area. While at C&L, he served on the firm's National PFS Steering Committee and played an integral role in founding C&L's Registered Investment Advisory subsidiary, eventually serving on its Investment Policy Committee. 

Over the past 30 years, Tom has developed a particular expertise in planning for senior corporate executives. He is well versed in the optimization of compensation and benefits programs and the financial aspects of employment contracts. Tom has worked with over three-dozen current or retired Chairmen, Chief Executive Officers and/or Presidents of major American corporations.

Tom has been named to Worth Magazine's "Top 100 Financial Advisors" list and to "Who's Who in Finance" and "Who's Who in America." He has written many technical articles, instructed at numerous professional education programs, and has been quoted in much of the national financial press. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) with a BA in English from Boston College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.

Tom serves on the Board of the Mayo Performing Arts Center and helped to lead a strategic plan review for the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown. He has been very active in St. Catherine of Siena Parish where he served as Chair of the Finance Council. Tom also served as a longtime member of the Board of Trustees of The Tri-County Scholarship Fund and currently serves on the boards of several private foundations. Tom has been involved in the Boston College admissions program since 1973 and served on the Executive Committee of the school's Wall Street Council in New York City.
