Metanor Reports a Fatal Accident at its Bachelor Mine

VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 10, 2015) - Metanor Resources Inc. ("Metanor") (TSX VENTURE:MTO) is saddened to report that a fatal accident occurred at its Bachelor Mine, located in Desmaraisville, 250 km north-east of Val d'Or. Early Sunday morning, a mechanic, aged 50, was assembling a small haulage truck in a maintenance shop when he sustained severe injuries. Mine rescue and first responders attended the scene immediately to evacuate the worker. The Quebec Provincial Police and the safety authorities (CSST) are proceeding with the investigation of this tragic accident. Metanor is co-operating with the ongoing investigation, as well as providing support to the family and employees at the mine site.
