SAN DIEGO, Aug. 10, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. (NASDAQ:ROIC) announced today that it closed its underwritten public offering of 5,520,000 shares of common stock, including 720,000 shares of common stock issued pursuant to the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares. The net proceeds from the offering, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses, were approximately $87.3 million.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to reduce borrowings under the Company's $500.0 million unsecured revolving credit facility.
Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, BMO Capital Markets, Raymond James and RBC Capital Markets acted as joint book-running managers; Canaccord Genuity and Cowen and Company acted as co-managers in connection with the public offering.
