Sunvalley Solar Is Seeking for Partnerships to Implement its Patented Technology

WALNUT, Calif., Aug. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunvalley Solar, Inc. (OTCBB:SSOL), a leading solar power technology and solar system integration company, announced today that it is seeking partnerships to develop and implement its patented technology – Networked Solar Panels and Related Methods.

Renewable energy sources, including solar power, continue to garner an increased portion of the public electricity grid as public awareness of global warming intensifies.  A grid, which relies to some degree on natural renewable energy sources, understandably suffers supply fluctuations when those same natural sources experience ebb and flow that is the norm in any environmental system. With regard to solar power, Photovoltaics (PV panels) rely on environmental factors such as weather, which can cause significant swings in the power supplied to the grid. These swings in power supplied by the PV panels unfavorably modify the grid's load and the manageability of that same power grid. For example, the electrical production of a plurality of PV panels under moving clouds can change from very little to very large amounts in a short time period –, this change correspondingly causes a voltage oscillation in the associated power grid. The voltage variability is exacerbated by the uncertainty of draws on the electrical energy within the power grid. Accordingly, the need for systems and methods of converting solar energy into electrical energy without resulting in unfavorable voltage fluctuations in the power grid are essential to utility companies and solar energy providers alike.

Sunvalley Solar has patented a new technology "Networked Solar Panels and Related Methods" (USPTO 12/198,076), which allows the solar power system operator to dynamically monitor the grid status, manage and control the output from the each panel, each subsystem and the system as a whole. This innovative control of the solar power system employs a robust software platform and management control methodology. Through this technology, system managers can address the undesirable fluctuations in the voltage of the power grid due to the natural environment's impact. Sunvalley seeks partnerships among solar panel suppliers, utility companies and energy management companies, to co-develop this patented technology and make it the industry standard for the management of power grids.
