Regency Centers (NYSE:REG), a national owner, operator and developer of
grocery-anchored shopping centers, has announced the addition of
Southern Season — specialists in gourmet and high-end gifts, kitchen
utensils, and housewares — to their Powers Ferry Square location in
Atlanta, GA.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Andre Koleszar, vice president and
regional officer for Regency Centers. “Southern Season has proven
themselves to be a consistent top-tier operator in their industry, and
that’s exactly the kind of merchant we like to support. Especially for a
center as trafficked and varied as Powers Ferry Square.”

from regional favorites to international innovations, as well as their
renowned cooking schools for anyone looking to expand their culinary
repertoire.
Clay Hamner, chairman of Southern Season, stated, “We are excited to
bring the Southern Season experience to Buckhead and the greater Atlanta
market. We plan to carry on the tradition of offering the full-service
experience our customers have grown to love.”
The store will include one of the world’s largest specialty gourmet food
and gift markets with a vast selection of local and international
products, a full-service restaurant, extensive wine selection, a cooking
school, a large coffee and tea selection, fresh flowers, hard to find
grocery items from around the world and from the local marketplace, a
large chocolate and candy department and an extensive bakery, deli and
cheese department.
This store will be the fifth Southern Season in the Southeast and will
be modeled after its award winning flagship store located in Chapel
Hill, NC. Other locations are in Raleigh, NC Charleston, SC, and
Richmond, VA and new stores are being planned for Charlotte, NC,
Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL.
Dave Herman, president of Southern Season said, “Buckhead is the ideal
market for our customers. We have a strong belief and heritage in

of entertaining with food and wine as the focal point. We pride
ourselves in offering friendly service with great tastings and distinct
