MONTREAL, Aug. 28, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - National Bank and UniAction invite media representatives to take part in a commemorative ceremony on August 30, to underscore the 40th anniversary of the arrival of the "boat people" refugees. This ceremony will be hosted by journalist and columnist René Vézina. Many dignitaries will be on hand for the occasion, including:

- Frantz Benjamin, Chairman of the City Council for the City of Montréal
- Kim Thuy, author

The commemorative ceremony is part of an exhibition that is open to the general public, entitled Discovery Day on Vietnamese History and Culture, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to this exhibition is free, and all donations will be given to Maison Chance Vietnam, an organization that helps children and adults with disabilities.
