Contestants Competing to Score Commercial During Pro Football’s
Biggest Game
Ten small businesses are one step closer to winning a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity from Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq:INTU): an expenses-paid, 30-second
television commercial during professional football’s biggest game on
Feb. 7. Starting today, the world can vote for their favorites on the Small
Business Big Game site, ultimately determining the grand prize
winner who will make it off the sidelines and into the game for a
life-changing experience.
Chosen from over 15,000 submissions on Own
It: A Small Business Network, these finalists hail from across the
country and represent the spirit of the American small business. Voting
ends Nov. 3, at 12 p.m. Pacific time, when the top three finalists will
be announced at Intuit’s second annual QuickBooks
Connect conference in San Jose, Calif. All 10 finalists and their
accountants will attend the conference, where they’ll get connected,
educated and inspired by a compelling speaker lineup and thousands of
business owners, entrepreneurs, accountants and developers in attendance.
“The importance of small businesses to the U.S. economy and communities
at large can’t be talked about enough, and we are excited to celebrate
these businesses’ successes and see which business captures the world’s
votes and wins the ultimate Small Business Big Game prize,” said Ken
Wach, senior vice president of marketing for Intuit’s Small Business
Group. “These 10 finalists depict various business types, geographies
and passions – and all inspired us in different ways. I look forward to
seeing each of them at QuickBooks Connect this November when we unveil
the top three.”
