DLH Collaborates with Engility Subsidiary for Medical Product Research and Development Contract Award

DLHC

Atlanta, Georgia - September 14, 2015 - DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC), a technical services provider to U.S. Government agencies specializing in health, logistics, and contingency programs announced today that it is a key member of a team led by TASC Inc., an Engility Company, which was awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for medical products, research, and prototype development services.  This contract supports the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) and the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), both of which are headquartered in Fort Detrick, Maryland where DLH employees are collocated to support the USAMMA's Medical Devices Program Office.  This award grants Engility and DLH the opportunity to compete on task orders, to provide professional and technical services to the USAMMDA and USAMMA and to develop and field medical products for the U.S. Armed Forces.

To facilitate timely and efficient execution, DLH will work with Engility to support all aspects of the U.S. Army's medical product/device development and life cycle support.  Included in DLH's scope will be project management, technical expertise/assistance, strategic planning, market analysis, training, administrative activities, pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing, integrated logistics support, and other functional support areas.  This contract expands DLH's health services support base and will be a catalyst in developing strong medical products designed to protect and preserve the lives of service members.

"We are thrilled to partner with Engility to provide services that are critical in the care and treatment of America's heroes.  This award will expand our presence at Fort Detrick in high impact health services programs for our Army customer," commented John Armstrong, Executive Vice President, DLH Corp.

DLH expects to provide these services for up to a five-year period as a subcontractor, though renewal options could extend the engagement up to a total of ten years.
