Ground breaking @ Nalley Nissan & Nalley Infiniti

The Nissan and Infiniti stores, featuring two five-story car display towers, will be in a high-visibility area off Interstate 285, near I-85. Those attending the groundbreaking included Craig Monaghan, president and CEO and David Hult, chief operating officer of Asbury Automotive, Leon Dorssers, vice president of dealer network Development Nissan North America, and David Bushe, area general manager and Terry Hoffman, dealer operations manager, Infiniti Americas.

"We are excited to expand and strengthen Nalley's presence in the Atlanta community by bringing jobs to the area," said Craig Monaghan. "I believe customers are going to enjoy the convenience of the new location with the added features, inventory and service the new stores will have to offer."

"This is certainly a one-of-a-kind project for Asbury, due to its scope, importance and uniqueness," said David Hult. "The economic impact this project will have on the area is particularly significant. These dealerships will also be the largest Nissan and Infiniti stores in the Metro Atlanta area."

Asbury Automotive acquired 20 acres of the 165-acre former GM site. The Nissan dealership will be about 72,000 square feet and the Infiniti dealership will be approximately 50,000 square feet. The new stores will be compliant with Nissan's "NREDI" and Infiniti's "IREDI" image and provide over 1,200 parking spaces and 10 electric vehicle charging stations.
