American States Water Company (NYSE:AWR) announced today that its
wholly-owned subsidiary Golden State Water Company (“GSWC”) completed
the acquisition of Rural Water Company (“Rural”). GSWC acquired the
water assets of Rural, which serves approximately 960 customers near the
City of Arroyo Grande in the county of San Luis Obispo, California. This
water system is near GSWC’s other water systems in Coastal California.
