WILLIAMS-SONOMA ANNOUNCES 13 CITY EVENT SERIES WITH GIADA DE LAURENTIIS

De Laurentiis to be featured in Williams-Sonoma’s holiday catalog for release of Happy Cooking

Williams-Sonoma announces a thirteen city event series with Giada De Laurentiis to launch her new cookbook, Happy Cooking. The events, produced by Innovation Arts & Entertainment, begin on November 3 in Hartford, CT and conclude in San Diego, CA on November 17. Williams-Sonoma, as one of the official sellers, will offer a limited supply of signed books for sale at the events. De Laurentiis, joined by a moderator, will share inspiration from her new book and answer audience questions at these interactive engagements. Cities include Hartford, Stamford, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston, Coral Springs, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Mesa, San Jose and San Diego.

Williams-Sonoma’s November and December catalogs will feature holiday-themed spreads with De Laurentiis sharing recipes and tips from Happy Cooking. “We’re so excited partner with Giada for the holidays. Her sense of warmth and family traditions are an inspiration to our brand,” says Janet Hayes, President, Williams-Sonoma. Additionally, De Laurentiis will provide special content to be featured on the brand’s social media channels and Taste, the Williams-Sonoma blog, throughout the holidays. Giada De Laurentiis is the Emmy Award-winning star of Food Network’s Everyday Italian, Giada at Home and Giada in Paradise, a judge on Food Network Star; contributing correspondent for NBC’s TODAY show, Editor in Chief of Giada Weekly, a digital magazine, and the author of seven New York Times bestselling books. Her newest cookbook, Happy Cooking, is one of the most highly anticipated cookbooks of the year.

Customers can purchase unsigned books which are currently available online or at stores. All Williams-Sonoma retail locations will feature a dedicated Happy Cooking display along with “Giada’s Picks,” a selection of her favorite cookware, tools and other products. Additionally, all stores will host a Happy Cooking Cookbook Club event on Wednesday, November 11 at 6pm, including a culinary demo of Thanksgiving-style recipes from the book.
