Gatekeeper Announces Completion of High-Definition Contracts Totaling Approximately $700,000 CDN

V.GSI

ABBOTSFORD, BC--(Marketwired - October 29, 2015) - Gatekeeper Systems Inc. ("Gatekeeper" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: GSI)(OTC PINK: GKPRF) (FRANKFURT: 1GK) is pleased to report that it has completed on approximately $700,000 CDN in purchase orders previously received for its high-definition mobile video systems.

As part of Gatekeeper's pre-product launch activity, management presented its high-definition system to several school districts on both the West and East Coast of the United States, successfully closing on one-hundred percent of the projects.

Gatekeeper's high-definition mobile video platform brings together a unique capability of integrated WiFi and live streaming capability with remote management features, allowing customers to access video from their devices even when vehicles are powered off. The platform is applicable to all mobile video markets.

The Company launched its latest body camera and micro high-definition camera systems for in-car police applications this past week at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), during which President Obama addressed the conference to speak on the importance of national security and the critical role police are responsible for.

Doug Dyment, President and CEO, stated, "Our high-definition systems were very well received with interest coming from the USA agencies as well as agencies in other countries. With the anticipation of a paradigm shift among mobile markets from analog to high-definition cameras and video management, we believe our strategic plan is in the sweet spot for pending requirements." Dyment also added, "We have had back-to-back national product launches and couldn't be more pleased with the feedback thus far. Next up is the North American launch of our high-definition camera systems for the school bus market at the National Association of School Transportation November 8th to the 11th. Interest in our high-definition systems has been outstanding and we are accelerating our push to market on all fronts."

A recent story in USA today wrote, "Amid tense police-community relations, the Obama administration began a program Friday to assess the effectiveness of having officers wear body cameras that can record interactions with the public. The Justice Department announced it is providing $20 million to police departments for body cameras, the first installment in a three-year program budgeted at $75 million.

"Body-worn cameras hold tremendous promise for enhancing transparency, promoting accountability and advancing public safety for law enforcement officers and the communities they serve," Attorney General Loretta Lynch said. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the program will help jurisdictions with the purchase of 50,000 body-worn cameras and provide evaluations of how well the program works. Civil rights advocates demand that officers be required to wear cameras in the wake of a series of police killings. After riots broke out over the death of a man in police custody, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said she would launch a body-camera pilot program.

Gatekeepers high-definition product line includes an easy to use body camera system that has designed-in automated software for downloading video from the body camera after the shift has ended.

"It's a complete hands-off operation and as a former law enforcement officer you want to put your camera down at the end of your shift and have automated software upload the video to the back-end evidence management system," stated Gary Lux, who is part of the Gatekeeper team.

The Company is also planning on bringing together its wireless connected mobile devices such as in-car video, body camera video, cell phone and other forms of evidence to a common evidence management software application trade named XVAULT.
