Faster payments "roadshow" of events to convene financial industry
thought leaders in Toronto, San Francisco and Charlotte
ACI
Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of electronic
payment solutions for banks and retailers
will host a series of executive roundtable discussions in November about
immediate payments and the issues, implications and opportunities for
commerce and banks.
Governments as well as new and traditional industry players are looking
to introduce new payments standards and capabilities to spur economic
growth, better serve consumers and commercial customers, and fuel
competition and innovation within the financial services marketplace.
The momentum behind immediate payments is growing globally. Economies
including the UK, Singapore, South Africa and others that have already
implemented this type of scheme are seeing exciting results and new
opportunities attributable to their moves to faster payments. Over the
past decade, ACI has played a central role in facilitating the growth of
immediate payments worldwide, connecting banks to the UK Faster Payments
scheme; over 60 percent of the current UK Faster Payments Service direct
members rely on ACI solutions to connect to the scheme.
In the last year, ACI has hosted immediate payments roundtable events in
key markets all over the world, including Paris, Milan, London,
Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney. Given the momentum building in the U.S.
and Canada around faster payments, ACI is now bringing the conversation
to North America via three executive roundtables.
Featured immediate payments panel participants include Jan Estep,
president and CEO of NACHA, The Electronic Payments Association; Robert
Flynn, managing director, Accenture Payment Services; Michael Hoganson,
director, Next Generation Clearing and Settlement, Canadian Payment
Association and Paul Thomalla, senior vice president, Corporate
Relations and Development, ACI Worldwide.

immediate payments at the following events:
