WorldatWork once again honors company with Seal of Distinction.
Prudential Financial has earned the 2016 Work-Life Seal of Distinction
from WorldatWork. The award recognizes leading companies that have
successfully integrated work-life policies, programs and practices for
employees. Prudential first received the honor in 2014.
“Because the award’s emphasis aligns with Prudential’s own comprehensive
definition of what makes for a supportive and healthy workplace, the
Seal is especially coveted,” said Maureen Corcoran, vice president,
Health, Life and Inclusion. “When employees can be their best selves at
work and at home, it’s a real win for them and the Company.”
Created in 2012, the WorldatWork Seal of Distinction is a unique mark of
excellence designed to identify organizational success in work-life
effectiveness. This year’s criteria assess seven categories that
comprise a best-in-class work-life portfolio:
-
Caring for dependents
-
Health and wellness
-
Workplace flexibility
-
Financial support and education
-
Paid and unpaid time off
-
Community involvement
-
Workforce experience and engagement
“Prudential recognizes that a positive work experience is
essential to employee engagement and organizational success,” said Anne
Ruddy, CCP, WorldatWork president and CEO. “This year's Work-Life Seal
of Distinction honorees are an impressive group of employers that
clearly understand the business value of investing in the people who do
the work.”
This year, Prudential was among 116 companies recognized for creating a
workplace culture that supports work-life balance and for being an
employer of choice. All 2016 Seal of Distinction companies will
be formally recognized at a gala awards dinner on March 9, during the
WorldatWork Future of Work Forum in New Orleans.
