Shark Set to Swim at SAP Ariba LIVE

SAP

Robert Herjavec to share winning ways at premier global commerce event

Business is more global and competitive than ever. And as part of its mission to arm companies with insights and tools that enable them to innovate and win, SAP Ariba is teaming with a shark. The company today announced that Robert Herjavec, star of ABC’s hit series “Shark Tank,” will headline SAP Ariba LIVE , the premier business commerce event, which kicks off March 14 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

A dynamic entrepreneur, Herjavec has built and sold several IT companies to major players such as AT&T. In 2003, he founded Herjavec Group, and it quickly became one of North America’s fastest growing technology companies.

To Herjavec, running a business is a lot like one of his greatest passions, racing cars. “You have to stay laser-focused when driving a car over 200 miles an hour, and the same approach is required when growing a business in today’s world of rapidly changing technology,” he says.

Herjavec’s shares such expertise with other entrepreneurs each week as a leading Shark on Shark Tank and through inspiring books such as Driven and The Will to Win, which were simultaneously Top 10 Bestsellers. His third book, You Don’t Have to Be a Shark: Creating Your Own Success is due to be published by St. Martin’s Press in May of 2016.

“At SAP Ariba, we are committed to helping our customers think and act in ways that redefine the way business is done and give them advantage,” said Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer, SAP Ariba. “Robert Herjavec is a business innovator who knows how to create new models that deliver lasting value and we are thrilled to have him join us and share his strategies for success with our community.”
