millions of guests and even prouder to honor the sacrifices of the men
and women who keep our country safe,” said Cracker Barrel Old Country

“Flip It Forward Day” is featured in the March issue of Country Living,
the definitive guide to the country lifestyle, on newsstands now.
“Country Living is a magazine that embraces all of the greatest
things about life in the country and life in this country—a
life that wouldn’t be possible without the service of the brave men and
women in our military,” said Country Living Editor-in-Chief
Rachel Hardage Barrett. “On any given day, community members across the
country come together in the name of pancakes to raise money for a host
of worthy causes. We’re thrilled to partner with Cracker Barrel on the
first ‘Flip It Forward Day,’ which will embrace this small-town spirit
of giving on a larger scale.”
Through many programs, services and nearly 200 locations around the
world, the USO has delivered a touch of home to our men and women in the
U.S. military and their families throughout their service. The USO
operates on every continent except Antarctica, with thousands of staff
and volunteers whose goal is to provide best-in-class service to those
who sacrifice so much for America.
“For 75 years, the USO has served the men and women of our U.S. military
and their families, connecting them to family, home and country
throughout their service,” said USO Vice President of Corporate
Alliances Michael Hoar. “Our work would not be possible without the
support of partners like Cracker Barrel and Country Living, who
are supporting programs like ‘Flip It Forward Day’ so that we may
continue to assist our nation’s military service members.”
Cracker Barrel and the Cracker Barrel Foundation have long supported
military-focused nonprofits and charitable initiatives, including the
National Military Family Association, Children of Fallen Patriots
Foundation, United Through Reading, and the National Museum of the
United States Army. In 2015, Cracker Barrel donated more than $160,000
to the USO through a Veterans Day promotion and its second-annual
Four-Star Salute®, an online charity auction, sweepstakes and in-store
promotion.
