Part of America Saves Week, the credit union's events are designed to encourage and equip members of the community to succeed in building their savings and managing their finances.

"Military Saves Week is all about taking financial action," said America Saves Director Nancy Register. Additionally this year, Air Force FCU is offering a one-year Military Saves Certificate that earns 3.00% APY to 3.20% APY with an opening deposit of only $5, and additional deposits are allowed so long as the maximum balance does not exceed $5,000.

The product is available to active-duty military, National Guardsmen and reservists. The additional 0.20% yield is available to Air Force FCU members who have both an existing loan as well as a checking account with direct deposit with the credit union.
