industry professionals. With these awards, a total of 11 Avnet
executives have made this distinguished list of supply chain
professionals.
The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives in
manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises who are leading
initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the
significant challenges of today’s business climate. Supply & Demand
Chain Executive received more than 350 entries for the 2016 Pros to
Know Award.
“Bob’s extensive operational expertise is invaluable to helping Avnet’s
customers improve quality, enhance collaboration and stay ahead of
market trends,” said Mike Buseman, chief global logistics and operations
officer at Avnet. “He has worked with companies to develop true
partnerships, turn their fixed costs into variable costs, and ensure
that we get the right product, to the right place, at the right time.”
For more than 15 years, Brenner has strengthened his expertise in
innovative warehouse management technologies and new methods of
production to enable better management of customers’ supply chain
requirements. In his role at Avnet, Brenner manages Avnet’s distribution
centers in the Americas as well as Avnet’s value-add center located in
Nogales, Mexico. Since joining Avnet in 2008, Brenner has achieved an
outstanding record of accomplishments, including the completion of a
two-year long initiative to upgrade the warehouse management system at
Avnet’s largest warehouse in Chandler, Ariz., to better manage its
customers’ and suppliers’ supply chain growth now and in the future.
Paulson was recognized for his wealth of knowledge and experience in
developing global supply chain strategies for customers as well as
within Avnet. He has worked at Avnet for 20 years, and in his role as
vice president of business development, Paulson works closely with Avnet
suppliers, partners and customers to ensure their supply chains are
operating efficiently and ensure overall supply chain visibility and
collaboration within their organizations.
“As supply chain organizations are increasingly focused on the Internet
of Things, David has been instrumental in guiding customers to activate
an effective IoT strategy in their organizations,” said Wade McDaniel,
vice president of solutions architecture. “David is an expert in solving
complex global supply chain challenges that help Avnet customers achieve
success.”
