Lumber Liquidators CEO Diagnosed With 'Very Treatable' Form Of Leukemia

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc (NYSE: LL) confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that its CEO John Presley has been diagnosed with leukemia.

According to a report by Reuters, Presley said in an email to employees that he is suffering from a "very treatable" form of the disease and it has been caught "very early." The executive added that he feels "strong physically and mentally."

Reuters added that Presley will undergo a 30-day treatment in Richmond, Virginia and will stay involved in the day-to-day operations of the company.

Shares were up more than 5 percent in Wednesday's pre-market session.
