HOUSTON — Feb. 23, 2016 — Microsoft Corp. is celebrating the opening of the Gulf Coast District Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) Wednesday at City Centre in Houston, where local business leaders will hear from Microsoft executives and customers and have an opportunity to tour the new facility. MTCs are collaborative environments that provide access to innovative technologies and world-class expertise, enabling our customers to envision, design and deploy solutions to meet their exact needs.
During the ceremony, guests will hear firsthand about the center and the benefits it provides the local community from Microsoft executives Chris Sakalosky, regional vice president, Central Region Enterprise and Partner Group, and Craig Hodges, general manager, Gulf Coast District's Enterprise and Partner Group, as well as Phillip Hazen, resources group technology officer, Accenture, and Mike Pfister, chief information officer, ConocoPhillips. Guests can also tour the facility viewing a variety of technology demonstrations including the Envisioning Center and Interactive Center, where customers can experience the latest cloud-powered solutions driving business transformation, including innovative technologies like Windows 10 and Surface Hub.
