Leveraging Celanese’s emulsion technology for adhesive applications
in Asia
Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology and specialty
materials company, today announced its Nanjing, China plant has expanded
its VAE (vinyl acetate/ethylene) emulsions product portfolio with the
addition of Celvolit® 149HV using technical reinforcement developed by
the Celanese Shanghai Commercial & Technology Center. The product has
been available and ready for sale since January of this year.

Celvolit® 149HV, which is available for most general adhesive
applications, offers differentiated solutions to customers with a wide
variety of features, including:

high viscosity responding with plasticizer and toluene;

formaldehyde free;

excellent heat resistance and adhesion performance.

product offering includes support for applications in general adhesion,
