Energy Transfer Partners Announces Quarterly Cash Distribution

Earnings Release and Earnings Call Dates Also Announced

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ETP) today announced a quarterly distribution of $1.055 per ETP common unit ($4.22 annualized) for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

The quarterly distribution of $1.055 represents a distribution increase of $0.16 per common unit on an annualized basis, or 3.9%, compared to the first quarter of 2015 and is the same distribution as the distribution for the fourth quarter of 2015. The cash distribution will be paid on May 16, 2016 to unitholders of record as of the close of business on May 6, 2016.

ETP expects to release earnings for the first quarter of 2016 on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, after the market closes. ETP and Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (NYSE: ETE), which owns the general partner of ETP, will conduct a joint conference call on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Central Time to discuss their quarterly results. The conference call will be broadcast live via an internet web cast, which can be accessed through www.energytransfer.com. The call will also be available for replay on Energy Transfer’s web site for a limited time.
