Alexium International Group Limited ("Alexium," "the Company") (ASX: AJX) (OTCQX: AXXIY) -- Alexium
announced today the receipt of a new purchase order and client from a fiberglass epoxy manufacturer located in the Southeastern
U.S.
"We are seeing significant progress serving the polymer coatings market," said Alexium President Dirk Van Hyning. "The interest
in our eco-conscious technology is very high, especially with the lack of alternative flame retardant (FR) solutions for this
sector."
Alexium recently penetrated the coatings and polymers sector. According to research done by the company, the global FR
non-textile market is estimated to reach US$6.6 billion by 2019. Alexium is having success with Alexiflam SYN-FILL, the company's
proprietary FR solution for plastics, resins and composites; uses include electronics, building, construction, coatings, and molded
injunction.
The company currently has clients world-wide for the Alexiflam family of chemical solutions in a number of sectors including
bedding/decorative fabrics, military and workwear, automotive and transportation, and outdoor fabrics.
