N.MGW

Canada NewsWire

(TSX-V: MGW)

May 10, 2016 – $0.12

CALGARY, May 10, 2016 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Green World (MGW-V) ("Maple Leaf" or the "Company") announces that the Company has received a seller's permit and resale certificate from the Board of Equalization of the State of California. As such, the Company is fully compliant with the laws of California regarding the growing and selling of marijuana for medical purposes. Furthermore, with the seller's permit in place, the Company has opened a business account with a major U.S. bank to handle all of its banking needs, including the transfer of funds to Canada, as required.  The permit and resale certificate makes the Company eligible to apply for a new medical marijuana license when such licenses become available.  Management considers these achievements to be significant for Maple Leaf as it gets closer to generating positive cash flow from its operations in California. The Company intends to keep current with the upcoming referendum for recreational marijuana legalization in California and the latest developments in medical marijuana licensing laws.
