(NASDAQ:MNRK), today announced that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Virginia State Corporation Commission have approved the regulatory applications filed in connection with TowneBank’s acquisition of Monarch Financial Holdings, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Monarch Bank.
