ATLANTA, May 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UPS today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned UPS as a leader in the May 2016
Gartner Magic Quadrant for Third-Party Logistics Providers, Worldwide (3PL). Gartner defines a Leader as those that “execute well
against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.”
UPS is one of only 16 companies that meet Gartner's criteria based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates third-party logistics providers’ ability to be a global preferred provider. This year marks
the 3rd consecutive year UPS has made it into the quadrant. In April 2015, UPS was also recognized as a Leader in the Magic
Quadrant for Third-Party Logistics, North America. Global 3PL providers are placed in one of four quadrants within the market:
niche players, visionaries, challengers or leaders.
