LEAT

Three-Times Elite UCI World Downhill Champion and Team Chain Reaction Cycles PayPal Racing in Leatt Helmets, Neck Braces, other Protective Gear

PR Newswire

CAPE TOWN, South Africa, May 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leatt Corporation (OTCQB: LEAT), a global developer, marketer and distributor of personal protective equipment for all forms of sports, including action sports and cycling, and whose products include the flagship Leatt-Brace®, announced today that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Chain Reaction Cycles (CRC) Team.

The CRC Team is a professional downhill mountain bike team of leading competitive riders featuring Sam Hill, a three-time UCI World Downhill champion, with riders Joe Smith, Mike Jones and Elliott Heap.  The team will be racing on the 2016 circuit with a featured assortment of the latest Leatt protective gear for cyclists, including the DBX Carbon Helmet, DBX Neck Brace, DBX gloves and Leatt elbow and knee guards.

"Leatt's new line of new lightweight, ventilated carbon DBX bicycle helmets with the innovative 360 ̊ Turbine Technology were designed for racers like Team CRC, as well as for amateur riders, and were created to elevate the riding experience," said Leatt CEO, Sean Macdonald.  "We believe that our helmets provide the highest level of protection, ventilation and comfort and are a natural fit with the Leatt-Brace neck brace and other gear.  We are currently introducing these new and innovative helmets to the global markets and the response has been very promising," he added.

"It is great to have the backing of Leatt and their protective gear when racing all out as we do," Hill said. "Having the best gear means riding more freely and performing at the highest level."

Nigel Page, CRC Team Manager, is also proud to be associated with the Leatt brand. "We are all excited to partner with Leatt, especially since the expansion of their outstanding 2016 product range," says Page.  "Our riders, especially Sam Hill, have been using Leatt neck braces for many years now and know that Leatt products are top-of-the-range when it comes to protection and safety in our dangerous sport. We look forward to achieving our racing and riding goals together with Leatt."

"We welcome Team CRC to our Leatt Family and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with them," Macdonald concluded.
