Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO) rose 95.59 percent to $1.180 in pre-market trading. Alaska Airlines announced that two jets flew on Gevo's renewable alcohol-to-jet fuel.

Ceres Inc (NASDAQ: CERE) shares rose 32.90 percent to $0.309 in pre-market trading after gaining 2.79 percent on Tuesday.

Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAY) shares rose 4.59 percent to $43.78 in pre-market trading as the company reported stronger-than-expected results for its first quarter and raised its FY revenue forecast. The company also announced a $100 million share repurchase program.

Ocean Rig UDW Inc. (NASDAQ: ORIG) rose 3.79 percent to $3.01 in pre-market trading after surging 11.54 percent on Tuesday.

Dermira Inc (NASDAQ: DERM) shares fell 5.33 percent to $28.60 in pre-market trading. Dermira priced offering of 4.5 million shares at $28 per share for gross proceeds of $126 million.

Vodafone Group Plc (ADR) (NASDAQ: VOD) shares fell 3.89 percent to $32.85 in pre-market trading. Dow Jones reported that New Zealand-based Sky Network Television is in ongoing talks with the company.

Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) shares fell 2.97 percent to $34.00 in pre-market trading. Verint Systems reported better-than-expected earnings for the first quarter, but sales missed analysts’ estimates.
