Regency Centers & Lincoln Harris Receive MAXI Award for Phillips Place’s Winter Wonderland
Regency Centers Corporation (“Regency”) (NYSE:REG), a national owner, operator, and developer of grocery-anchored shopping
centers, along with Lincoln Harris, a full-service commercial real estate provider headquartered in Charlotte, have been awarded a
MAXI Silver Award from the International Council of Shopping Centers for their Winter Wonderland event at Phillips Place. The show
and charity fundraiser would not have been possible without the support of Duke Energy, Hendrick Lexus-Charlotte, Cline Design,
Williams Company, and the U.S. Marine Corps.
“We really wanted to do something special and never-seen-before,” said Jay Kanik, Regional Property Manager for Regency Centers.
“It’s such an amazing cause with some incredible people, and we couldn’t have done it without our partners in the community. This
award is a testament to the generosity of the people of the Queen City, and we look forward to a bigger and better show this
December.”
Winter Wonderland was such a success that Phillips Place has committed to bringing back Winter Wonderland, with EventStretch and
Paschal Promotions, for a multi-year run. It will once again serve as a collection depo for Toys for Tots Charlotte; a
not-for-profit whose mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute
those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
“The entire production, start to finish, was fantastic,” said Ted “Migs” Silvester, Vice President of Marketing &
Development for Toys for Tots. “Regency and Lincoln Harris, along with the other sponsors, were the key drivers for success on
this. We are proud to call each of these companies our partners, for now and the foreseeable future.”
