Citizens Bank Appoints Frank P. Drago as President of Citizens Securities, Inc. and Head of Citizens Investment Services

Citizens Bank today announced the appointment of Frank P. Drago as President of Citizens Securities, Inc. and Head of Citizens Investment Services. Drago, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, previously served as Director of Investment Sales for Citizens Investment Services. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading, growing and managing the company’s broker/dealer business.

Citizens Investment Services is the division of Citizens Wealth Management that provides a wide range of investing services and solutions for clients and business owners. Drago reports to John Bahnken, Head of Citizens Wealth Management.

“As we continue to grow our wealth management business and to help more Citizens Bank clients plan for retirement and other long-term financial objectives, we are pleased to appoint Frank as Head of Citizens Investment Services,” said Bahnken. “Frank is a proven leader with extensive experience. We welcome him in this new role and look forward to his leadership as we continue to grow this important business.”

Drago joined Citizens in April 2013 from Citi Personal Wealth Management, where he was Eastern Seaboard Market Head. Prior to this role, he served in senior roles at Smith Barney and Citicorp Investment Services. Drago received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Fordham University. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation.
