Directorate Change

HomeServe plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Johnathan Ford, currently Group Chief Financial Officer, to the new position of Group Chief Operating Officer.

As Group Chief Operating Officer, Johnathan will provide focus and support to all of HomeServe's businesses in order to ensure high levels of operational effectiveness across the Group as it grows. In this role he will lead the development and implementation of plans to deliver the Group's operating objectives across the Group, share best practice and maximise the returns from the Group's investments in new systems and technology.  As part of the new role, Johnathan will take responsibility for the digital hub and for the Group's developing business in Italy.

Johnathan will continue to be a member of the HomeServe plc Executive Committee and HomeServe plc Board.

David Bower, currently Group Finance Director, will be appointed as interim CFO.

Johnathan Ford, Chief Operating Officer of HomeServe plc said:

Given the nature and scale of Johnathan's new role, he has decided to reduce his other commitments.  He will therefore be stepping down as a Non-Executive Director of Lakehouse plc with immediate effect.
