COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., June 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Exelis Services A/S, a Danish enterprise of Vectrus Systems Corporation, Vectrus, Inc. (NYSE: VEC), has learned that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has issued a decision reversing the decision of the Court of Federal Claims, which had set aside an award to Exelis Services A/S of the Thule Air Base, Greenland, base maintenance services contract. The decision currently is under seal; however, the company looks forward to working with the U.S. Air Force in support of this contract.

Exelis Services A/S, a Danish enterprise, was originally awarded the $411 million U.S. Air Force contract for base maintenance services at Thule Air Base, Greenland in October 2014. The contract award has been subject to protest and subsequent litigation since the original award decision. The contract provides for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Air Base with a seven year period of performance.
