16th Annual Series of Free Broadway Performances Kicks-off Thursday, July 7 in New York City's Bryant Park

Today, 106.7 LITE FM announced the return of its highly-anticipated, annual lunchtime theatre summer series, ‘106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park.’ The 2016 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 7 at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM’s on-air personalities, the annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11th. This year’s 106.7 LITE FM’S Broadway in Bryant Park is presented by NewYork-Presbyterian for Kids and TKTS Discount Ticketing Booth.

Broadway in Bryant Park invites New Yorkers to soak up the summer and watch hit musical numbers from New York City’s most popular Broadway and Off-Broadway shows including The Color Purple (2016 Tony Award Winner for Best Revival of a Musical), Fun Home (2015 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical), Something Rotten! (2015 Tony Award Winner for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical), Matilda, Fiddler on the Roof, WICKED, Kinky Boots and Waitress.

Celebrating 16 years of providing free theatre entertainment, ‘106.7 LITE FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park’ will run from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. ET on the following Thursdays; July 7; July 14; July 21; July 28; August 4; August 11. The Bryant Park stage is located at 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve.
