Pitchblack Closes First Tranche of Private Placement

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 28, 2016) -

NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

Pitchblack Resources Ltd. (NEX:PIT.H) ("Pitchblack" or the "Company") has closed the first tranche (the "First Tranche") of its non-brokered private placement financing of 600,000 common shares of Pitchblack at a price of $0.10 per share for gross proceeds of $60,000. The First Tranche forms part of a larger offering for gross proceeds of up to $170,000.

All securities issued pursuant to the First Tranche are subject to a statutory hold period which expires on October 23, 2016.

Pitchblack intends to use the proceeds of the financing to cover the costs of the litigation and for general corporate purposes.
