Exova acquires Jones Environmental Forensics Limited
Exova Group plc ("Exova") EXO.L, a leading global provider of testing, calibration and advisory
services, announces that it has acquired Jones Environmental Forensics Limited ("Jones"), a North Wales-based independent
environmental analysis business that provides testing and complex forensic analysis services in the contaminated land and water
market.
Founded in 2007, Jones has built a strong reputation in the area of contaminated water and soil analysis, primarily
selling its services to leading global environmental consultants, with the ultimate end customers often including major oil and
petroleum producers and international mining companies. The business has a team of over 150 specialists and
achieved revenues of around £8m in 2015.
Ian El-Mokadem, chief executive officer of Exova Group plc, commented: "Acquiring Jones complements our existing
operations by enhancing Exova's technical expertise in environmental services and offers a great foundation for further growth in
the UK and internationally. This addition to our portfolio exemplifies our strategy of providing more technically demanding
services, growing our capabilities and increasing market share through carefully considered strategic acquisitions."
